Melrose Premium Liquid Coconut Oil comes from coconuts grown in sustainable plantations in the Philippines and has had just enough Lauric Acid removed for it to stay in a liquid state, even in cold weather. Consisting mostly of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), otherwise known as fatty acids, it is an excellent source of energy, is easy to digest and is an ideal, healthy alternative for cooking at low temperatures. With a mild, nutty flavour and subtle aroma, it is also excellent for desserts, salad dressings, smoothies, raw food recipes and as a skin moisturiser.
\nThis coconut oil is suitable for cooking at low temperatures. Smoke point - 160 degrees celsius.
