I have been a massive fan of caramel slice since I was a kid and now I have found the perfect recipe that tastes absolutely amazing but with out all those highly processed sugars……

Base:
 - 1/2 cup walnuts
 - 1/2 cup almonds
 - 1/4 cup dates
 - 2 tbsp coconut oil
 - 1 tsp maple syrup
 
- 
Caramel:
 - 1 cup dried pitted dates
 - 1/2 cup coconut oil
 - 1 1/2 tbsp unhulled tahini
 - 1/3 cup maple syrup
 - 1 cup raw cashews
 - 1/4 cup water
 
- 
Chocolate:
 - 2 tbsp melted cacao butter
 - 1 tbsp coconut oil
 - 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
 
- 
Directions:
 - Pulse the base ingredients in a food processor until it makes crumbs
 - Press down crumbs into a tray lined with grease proof paper and put in freeze
 - Blend caramel ingredients in the food processor until thick and creamy
 - Pour caramel mixture into tray on top of crumb base and put in freezer to set
 - Mix melted cacao butter with the rest of the chocolate ingredients until smooth
 - Pour chocolate on top of caramel mixture and then leave in fridge to set… Enjoy xo
